Susana Alvear

Susana was born in New York City and is the eldest of three children to parents who emigrated from Ecuador to the United States in the 1960’s – her mother is from Quito and father from Loja. 

Susana earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Spanish Minor from the College of St. Rose.  She earned her Master’s Degree in Education Science.  She currently works for in the Albany City School District.

Susana nació en Nueva York y es la mayor de tres hijos a  padres que emigraron de Ecuador a los Estados Unidos en la década de 1960  - su madre es de Quito y el padre de Loja.

Susana obtuvo una Licenciatura en Educación Primaria y menores españoles en el Colegio de Santa Rosa. Obtuvo su Maestría en Ciencias de la Educación. Actualmente trabaja en el Distrito Escolar de la Ciudad de Albany.
