HispCoalitionNY President Receives Prestigious Recognition: Lincoln Latino Leaders Summit and Top Hispanic Entrepreneurs Awards 2014
ALBANY, NEW YORK (Aug. 31, 2015) – The Hispanic Coalition NY's President participated in the Lincoln Latino Leadership Summit this past October 29 in Miami Florida. The event was presented by Negocios Magacine and sponsored by Lincoln Motor Company as a way to recognize leadership and entrepreneurs who are making a difference across the nation. The Leadership Summit featured Hispanic Leaders from New York, Miami, Florida and Los Angeles, California.
HispCoalitionNY President Monica Arias Miranda was recognized with several others as a Latina Leader. "It is an honor to be recognized through the Lincoln Latino Leaders Awards. I am especially thankful for the opportunity to speak as a panelist in the Leadership Summit and share the Hispanic Coalition NY's work to highlight and promote the Latino youth in our state." She continued, "I am proud to see efforts by organizations like Negocios Magazine and Lincoln Motor Company who are dedicated to promoting leadership and are making an impact through highlighting the positive achievements and the diversity found in the Hispanic community."

According to Census data, Latinos are the fastest and youngest growing demographic group in the country making up 17 percent of the population or 54 million with a median age of 34 years. The projected 2060 population stands at 128.8 million or 31 percent. Hispanic owned businesses account for well over 2.3 million with generated receipts over $350 million.
