Mrs. Rodriguez is admitted to the U.S. District Court of Northern New York, Massachusetts Bar, and Connecticut Bar. She received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Massachusetts School of Law, and her Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Connecticut.
She is fluent in Spanish and is a first generation American who's family migrated from Argentina to Waterbury, Connecticut during the 1980's. She has been very active in the Latino community in Connecticut as a previous employee and member of the Hispanic Health Council, and the Puerto Rican Latin American Cultural Center at the University of Connecticut. Later in New York she was active as a Program Director for Centro Civico Inc. serving on various advisory boards and task forces advocating for the Latino Community in upstate New York.
Mrs. Rodriguez is the recipient of the 2013 40 under 40 Rising Latino Stars by the Hispanic Coalition of NY. She currently serves as the organization's Board Vice President.
Currently, Mrs. Rodriguez lives in Amsterdam NY with her husband and two sons; serves as part time Director of Transportation for the City of Amsterdam; Parent Liaison for the Amsterdam School District, Chief Executive for El Coqui Transportation, and Attorney in private practice advocating for the migrant community.
